The Kananaskis Field Station (currently called Bio-Geoscience Institute) is located about 85 km west of Calgary on Highway 40. Take Highway 40 exit (Kananaskis Country) off the TransCanada. The turn-off to the Station is 10.2 km south of the Trans-Canada Highway, opposite Barrier Lake. Registration is in the Lodge at the east end of the buildings.
